Location

The estate lies at the geographic centre of Europe: the area where three countries with the cities of Maastricht, Liège and Aachen meet. The town of Verviers (and Pepinster) is situated within a 30-minute drive of each of these three cities.

Les Hautes Fagnes
The chateau is located on a hill with beautiful views from the rear of the adjacent woodland, with behind it the town of Verviers and in the distance national park de Hoge Venen (les Hautes Fagnes).

An old castle wall borders the road, while there is direct access from the estate to this beautiful area of woodland (approx. 30 hectares) where you can take walks or ride horseback.
The area surrounding the estate is largely agricultural. Within walking distance of the chateau is a farm-style restaurant, and a bit further away another restaurant, this one holding a Michelin star. Shops and medical facilities are easily accessible in the village of Lambermont, about 1.5 km away.
